This is a reportage book visiting various underground spots. I wrote it with respect for underground cultures that continue to live quietly, hidden from society. SM bars Shibari (bondage) workshops Happening bars Pink cinemas B6 size / 34P ---------------------------------------------- Sometime before the COVID-19 pandemic, on a whim I had the opportunity to visit a place called a “happening bar,” which I had long been curious about. As someone who enjoys exploring underground spaces, it was a kind of challenge. A happening bar is a uniquely Japanese type of adult entertainment venue where people with sexual tastes or interests gather and can naturally engage in activities with other customers. As the name suggests, it’s a place visited in the hope of sudden happenings, commonly referred to as a “hap-bar.” (Excerpt from a Shibari workshop)

This is a collection of essays written together with AI, something still rare in the world. Rather than turning AI into an "automatic writer," I consider it an "editor" and "another me." I consult with the AI to choose a theme, and I begin to write. The AI critiques and rewrites, and then I receive a reply from "the other me." This book is a record of that back-and-forth. It is the first form of humans and AI writing together.

This, the author's fifth work, is a combined edition that collects the first work 'A Life That Wants to Be a Frog', the second 'The Sanctuary of Kinks', and the third 'Being a Boy' into one volume. It is an essay collection largely on the themes of life and ideas, and, having continued to express these enduring sentiments, the works were compiled into one volume at the time of a reprint. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that reading this will give you a basic understanding of 'Maepu' lol Across the journey from the first to the third work you can sense shifts in my mindset; at times I express opinions that contradict earlier ones, but there is no falsehood in what I believed then, so I hope you enjoy those changes as well. Size: Width 115mm × Height 152mm × Spine 17.2mm Page count: 272 pages Maepu Born on Earth in 2000. Began writing activities in 2023. Self-published a total of six books, including 'My Cause of Death Is Diabetes', 'Life Is So Fleeting It's Euphoric', and 'Worries Are an Adult Happy Meal'. This is the author's 6th self-published book. An essay characterized by glimpses of eroticism within a philosophical style of writing — sometimes intellectual, sometimes silly. Includes prose expressing humanity and vivid photographs shot on monochrome film. Below is an excerpt from the text. "Words are a revolutionary tool for conveying one's will to others, but sometimes I feel there's no need to be bound by them. Who cares about vocabulary or production cost — honestly, it doesn't matter. There are times when a person's feelings or actions cannot be expressed in words." Size: Width 115mm × Height 152mm × Spine 11.6mm Page count: 180 pages Maepu Born in 2000, from Earth. Began writing activities in 2023. Self-published six books in total, including 'My Cause of Death Is Diabetes', 'Life Is Too Fleeting and It's Euphoric', and 'Worries Are an Adult Happy Meal'. A distinguishing feature is a mole behind the ear.

――Let's talk about finding a key. In a sense, everyone is blind. 《Kakuyomu Contest 9 Entertainment General Special Award》 《5th Everyone's Tweet Literature Award Domestic Edition 2nd Place》 In August 1992, a nine-year-old boy named Toby lost his sight in a hurricane in Florida. His parents continued to treat him with unchanging love, but Toby's heart was dominated by dissatisfaction, a sense of unfairness, and frustration, unable to escape. Four years later, the family moved to the rural town of Nineveh, Maine. During a walk with his pet dog Humming given by his father, Toby finds an old key in the woods. Its owner is Jean Goodspeed. While feeling distrust and irritation towards this man who smokes, drinks, plays the guitar, engages in penetrating conversations, and gave him bad chocolate bars, he simultaneously feels solace and a strange trust. At the diner Ectabana he visited with Jean, Toby meets Sarah. Captivated by the charm of her "recited" words, Toby finds flavor in the menu. Attracted to her, he also notices the 'fear' hidden within her words, and wanting to help her, he attempts to uncover the truth. A long novel depicting the facts and truths as reflected in each of their hearts. Has been influenced by writers such as Misuzu Kaneko, Chuya Nakahara, Kenji Miyazawa, and Takashi Matsumoto. "The sky is made of courage". ◯Tarako Ame A person who dearly loves Western music, movies, and cats. Lives in Iwate. The touching encounter with the short poems of Hiroyuki Sasai in school started them on their poetic journey. After experiencing the Great East Japan Earthquake, they completed their first series "Tattoo of the Moon" themed on the life of the sea. They also write poems capturing delicate human emotions and humorously satirizing modern society. Living faithfully to the call of the soul is their motto, cherishing floating words and feelings like bubbles. ◯Eiya Misaki Somehow became a university student. Loves tangerines enough to eat a whole box in one day. Living alone allows an indulgent lifestyle, frequently ordering tangerines for delivery. Also loves wasabi-flavored snacks, eating them to take breaks during writing. Prefers sushi without wasabi. ◯Gojuumaru Ganaha Born in 1990, Okinawa Prefecture. Leo sign. Blood type O. Holds the philosophy "Writing stories is revenge on life, which can only be lived once"— inspired by words found somewhere before (later discovered to be based on words by Kaoru Kitamura).
