Composes tanka. Recently moved from Ichikawa, Chiba to Kasugai, Aichi. Belongs to the Nakatsugawa group known as "Yuruyuru Utakai" and to Sapporo's "Toi Fleur." They recently shaved their head, which surprised the people around them. Enjoys a frugal lifestyle.

I create horror fiction as zines

This is a talk event where book lovers Henri Ohara and Ruko talk at length about their love of reading. Enjoy the conversation between the two, who read widely across genres. After the event there will be a signing session with both of them.

I consider methods for expressing the spaces where quantum mechanics and animism intersect.

This zine collects the subtle differences found among ostensibly identical items. We observe those differences—different shapes but the same contents—through photographs and sketches. It also covers subjects ranging from urban structures to food, experimenting with layouts that unsettle the sense of scale.

Graphic designer [Letter · Language · Design] I became fascinated with letterform (character) design and dove into the world of design. I bring a ZINE focused on letterform design to events in Kansai and the Seto Inland Sea region.

This book was born from the daydream of "what if I opened a wagashi shop?" Drawing a little on my real experience making wagashi in a shop, I tried to turn the scenes and sensations I encountered in the seasons into sweets, one by one. The blooming of flowers, the steady falling of rain, the shimmering of light. I wanted to shape those ordinary seasonal moments so they could fit in the palm of your hand. I hope that as you turn the pages you will feel the daily changes and the presence of the seasons.

From March 20 (Fri) to May 10 (Sun), we're holding a long-running zine fair in the bookstore 📙 We are exhibiting and selling zines by 40 creators, mainly local creators from Aichi Prefecture. Admission is free, so please stop by!
