Imaginary Wagashi Shop: A Seasonal Confections Journal

This book was born from the daydream of "what if I opened a wagashi shop?"
Drawing a little on my real experience making wagashi in a shop, I tried to turn the scenes and sensations I encountered in the seasons into sweets, one by one. The blooming of flowers, the steady falling of rain, the shimmering of light.
I wanted to shape those ordinary seasonal moments so they could fit in the palm of your hand. I hope that as you turn the pages you will feel the daily changes and the presence of the seasons.
