Announcement of the confirmed holding of Paper Summit 2026. The event will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Osaka Merchandise Mart Building (OMM Building), Grand Hall B. Please note that the date and venue have been significantly changed from last year.
(Aoyama Gakuin University, Library and Information Science), a leading researcher in reading accessibility, and 藤坂康司, a former library director and now bookstore staff who helped realize a library that's more than just a place to borrow books together with citizens and librarians, will have an in-depth conversation about the possibilities of libraries that can only be understood through practice and about the potential for books that reading accessibility brings.
This is a reportage book visiting various underground spots. I wrote it with respect for underground cultures that continue to live quietly, hidden from society. SM bars Shibari (bondage) workshops Happening bars Pink cinemas B6 size / 34P ---------------------------------------------- Sometime before the COVID-19 pandemic, on a whim I had the opportunity to visit a place called a “happening bar,” which I had long been curious about. As someone who enjoys exploring underground spaces, it was a kind of challenge. A happening bar is a uniquely Japanese type of adult entertainment venue where people with sexual tastes or interests gather and can naturally engage in activities with other customers. As the name suggests, it’s a place visited in the hope of sudden happenings, commonly referred to as a “hap-bar.” (Excerpt from a Shibari workshop)

<Basic Information> Title: How to Write Author: 平野明 Cover illustration: 岩崎伶奈 Design: 岩崎伶奈 Editor: 平野明 Release date: May 26, 2025 Price: 1,000 yen (tax included) Format: A6, softcover Pages: 70 pages Publisher: 平野明 <Overview> Not "What to Write," but "How to Write." Under the theme "what does it mean to write," I quoted and reflected on 31 kinds of prose from various books. I made this zine from my current bookshelf; I hope it will serve as a reading hint for readers and help writers broaden the territory of the word "write." Enjoy. I'll be participating in Bungaku Flea Market Tokyo. We don't do much online/mail-order sales, so it's recommended to purchase on-site at event prices. There are travel essays and essays about my return to the doujin scene.
