This book was born from the daydream of "what if I opened a wagashi shop?" Drawing a little on my real experience making wagashi in a shop, I tried to turn the scenes and sensations I encountered in the seasons into sweets, one by one. The blooming of flowers, the steady falling of rain, the shimmering of light. I wanted to shape those ordinary seasonal moments so they could fit in the palm of your hand. I hope that as you turn the pages you will feel the daily changes and the presence of the seasons.

From March 20 (Fri) to May 10 (Sun), we're holding a long-running zine fair in the bookstore 📙 We are exhibiting and selling zines by 40 creators, mainly local creators from Aichi Prefecture. Admission is free, so please stop by!

to mon ami — "to my friend" I write stories born from films, books, and fragments of everyday life. /illustrated diary/poetry art/ultra-short fiction/digital collage I exhibit and sell works and zines at events. I also participate in one-box used-book markets.

This is an illustration book. It contains drawings by Daitaieto. It was made as an experiment in a new bookbinding method. By combining thread-sewn binding and crochet, it has an adorable spine. Various kinds of yarn were used.

I experience time as shapes and spaces. The months are arranged like loosely curved bands, and each day of the week has a fixed form. This seems to be a sensation called "synesthesia," but to me it is simply an ordinary landscape. In this zine, I recorded the scenes visible within the shapes and spaces of time by drawing diagrams.
