Baffling signboards, surreal notices, and sights that make you do a double-take—encountered during trips and in everyday life. From over 400 “fun town-walking” photos collected across Japan over roughly six months, 123 were carefully selected. Packed with images that will make you chuckle and want to share them with someone. With approximate shooting locations and captions, you can enjoy a travel-like feeling just by flipping through.
This issue features Kameda Nakanomachi in Hakodate, where people and nature intersect! It contains three articles, including two newly written pieces. "Walking the Mysterious Path Buried in the Mountain" — A flat spot overgrown with bamboo grass. It is the trace of someone's footsteps. "The Mysterious Plot at Mirai University" — The true nature of the square "mysterious plot" left alone on the university campus. "Eating Michikusa" — An interest that began with appetite eventually connects to the land's history.

A project to visit all of the Shikoku Bekkaku 20 sacred sites, which are even more rugged than the Shikoku 88 temples, using public transportation. It can also serve as a reference for how to walk to temples located deep in the mountains.
