Yuzuha Hosaka

Yuzuha Hosaka

Based in Nagoya. I'm a harmless person who changed careers from a systems engineer (SE) to a university librarian. I enjoy seeing people talk about books, and the online reading group I run almost every week is now in its seventh year. Recently, I've been planning and publishing a zine of essays about books titled "Tonight, Here's a Bookmark."

coffee talk +2

coffee talk

A booklet compiled from asking coffee shop owners about various brewing methods, inspired by the thought "I want to be able to make delicious coffee." In the end, I learned that it's best not to try to be fancy and to value your own preferences. It covers hand-drip and AeroPress methods. Size: A6 Pages: 24 Thickness: 4 mm Saddle-stitched, hand-bound

Kicchan's Banana Cake +2

Includes a recipe for a light and fluffy banana cake at the back. Size: A6 Pages: 33 Thickness: 4 mm Saddle-stitched, hand-bound

Hibi Design Room

Hibi Design Room

I began my book design activities in 2022. The theme is snacks. I create works that compile stories and recipes of snack making into a single book. Because I put a lot of effort into the paper used for the works, I started making them as handmade books. At events, I also make and sell snacks from the recipes. It is a shop where there are 'snack books and book snacks.'

Radiotic ZINE chilaula Vol.0

Radiotic ZINE chilaula Vol.0

What is Radiotic ZINE chilaula? A ZINE imagined from the idea that "radio and ZINE are similar." It's like a radio program where the personality discusses books they've read and the activities of the one-shelf bookstore "Anbeiina-ya" while playing music. This ZINE was created with that radio show image in mind.

Warm and Unsettling: A Diary of Everyday Life for Women in their 30s

Warm and Unsettling: A Diary of Everyday Life for Women in their 30s

"Warm and Unsettling: A Diary of Everyday Life for Women in their 30s" Published on April 5, 2025 / First Edition Published on June 2, 2025 / Third Print / Revised Edition (SOLD OUT / Reprinting) 800 yen (including tax) Expanding daydreams from roadside drops or laughing at children's slips of the tongue. Meanwhile, being unsettled by awkward marital relationships and sinking into a deep valley——. Both warmth and unease, along with children's growth and a husband's betrayal, are all part of everyday life. This diary of everyday life for women in their 30s is a story where the author wrote about "compromise in marriage" rather than "breaking up" or "putting up with," experienced while reading. This is the first ZINE created by Minori Kubo, who works as a bookstore manager and writer while crafting. Photos Taken by a 3-Year-Old

Photos Taken by a 3-Year-Old

Photos Taken by a 3-Year-Old Published on December 14, 2025 500 yen (tax included) Looking back at the photos that a 3-year-old child took on a smartphone, there are many that are out of focus, too close to tell what's in them, and ones that just make you laugh. From an adult's perspective, they might be considered "not quite good photos." However, I wanted to preserve these photos taken by a child. As I pondered why, I realized something. — Children don't care about 'aesthetic' or composition. They simply press the shutter out of sheer 'like.' For me, an adult who tends to worry about what others think, that innocence was enviable. It doesn't matter if it's close up or incomprehensible, it's okay as it is. The sheer boldness and purity of their 'likes' are exactly what make up the current world of a child. One day, when I asked, "Why did you take this picture?" the answer was, "Hmm, I don't know! But isn't it cute?" Behind the happenstance compositions, there's undeniably a 'like.' At that moment, I decided to preserve these photos in the form of a picture book. In this book, photos taken by a 3-year-old are presented as they are, without any editing. The text deliberately refrains from over-explaining, leaving space for the reader. I hope people will see the incompleteness not as "missing parts," but as "evidence of that child's moved heart." I want to convey the liberating feeling of "it's okay not to take perfect photos" to those who love photography and art. I hope this picture book serves as a reminder for adults of the 'purity of their likes' that they might have forgotten. A5 size, saddle-stitched, 8 pages Photos by Rinko Kubo Text by Minori Kubo

Life and Unrequited Love

Life and Unrequited Love

'Life and Unrequited Love' Published on November 23, 2025 1,000 yen (tax included) Instead of centering my life around my husband's betrayal, I re-narrated the nameless pain. I, who could neither be a victim nor a perpetrator, simply wished for recovery and wove my story as a 'living person' rather than a 'betrayed wife.' The superficial love of high school days, the opacity of the world, the words of family, the disappointment in my own shallowness—these added distortions have gently changed the future. 'Speak even the pain that sits between black and white, without a fixed position.' Essays for the past and present, and fiction as 'hypotheses' for the future. The concentrated emotions were turned into poetry between each chapter. Please share your 'Life and Unrequited Love' too. Wireless binding, paperback size, 94 pages ▷ Author Profile Author Minori Kubo Owner of the bookstore Yomuniwa / Writer / Picture book production director Her books include 'Cozy and Unsettling: A Diary of an 'A-Side B-Side' for a Woman in Her 30s,' and picture books such as 'If the Buttons Are Mismatched' and 'Mirror, Mirror.'
