A picture book about a small poodle that moves back and forth between time spent alone and connecting with someone. It depicts a quiet, gentle story centered on the Japanese term ohitorisama (being alone). ▶︎ For book details and purchases: BOOTH "Daina Bookstore" https://matsushitasaeko.booth.pm
I primarily create picture books and illustrations, exploring themes of solitary time and gentle connections. My zines and picture books are published on BOOTH's "Daina Bookstore".

Under the circle name 'Space People Tanuki', I independently produce zines. I work full time as a company employee and also write as a side job. Focusing on menswear-inspired fashion, I create hobby zines that capture everyday life and moments of unease, encouraging people to enjoy clothing regardless of gender or age. I'm queer and live with my same-sex partner (a childhood friend). I make these for people who want to keep playfully experimenting with fashion in a pop way even as adults.
Originally from Hiroshima; after living in Sapporo and Nagoya, I now live in Kagawa Prefecture. I enjoy traveling by public transportation, especially trips on local bus lines. I am currently writing books about pilgrimages, such as the Shikoku 88-temple pilgrimage.
This is my first zine. "If you hold ambition and keep, strongly and strongly, wishing somewhere in your heart, there will be someone who watches over it somewhere, and sometimes that wish will come true." "Like a flower blooming." This is my very, very first small collection consisting of three double-page spreads using drawings of the Imaginary Girl (an imaginary woman) that I often drew and photographs I enjoyed taking. Limited to 30 copies. Numbered. It will be sold as a set with two bookmarks printed by risograph. (Details about the bookmarks can be found on Instagram @ai_to_eye_design.) Currently on sale at "Tanakara Botamo ZINE", a zine consignment sale event organized by ninatte Kyushu. After the event ends, it will be available on the ninatte Kyushu online store from 1/30 to 2/27.
Mother of two. I work in healthcare and create paintings (Levmonade), write articles, and do design. Instagram: @ai_to_eye_design
