Delicatalk vol.3 is a ZINE event held at Saibundo | saibundo on Saturday, September 26, 2026 (Author event).
To celebrate the publication of the new book "Shinji Ishii — Phonograph Conversations: Putting Sound into a Vessel", we will hold a talk event with the author Shinji Ishii (@ishii_shinji_official) and the editor Makoto Kawazoe (Tankosha @tankosha_ed).
The project for "Phonograph Conversations: Putting Sound into a Vessel" began before the coronavirus pandemic, in 2017. How did this book finally reach completion? They will talk about the trajectory of the book’s creation and various stories surrounding it.
Ishii's phonograph will, of course, make an appearance! What kind of sound will it produce as it vibrates the air at Saibundo | saibundo? Please join us to enjoy the talk and the music.
