For your questions — and your "I wish it had this". Introducing the Question Box

Saturday, August 8, 2026

Hello! This is the Zindies team.

Have you ever used Zindies and wondered, "How do I do this?"

We have always answered the questions that reach us through the contact form, one by one. But those answers only reach the person who asked. Someone else might be wondering the exact same thing, and yet the answer stays locked inside a one-on-one exchange — that always felt like a small waste, and it kept nagging at us.

So we built the Question Box, where creators and shops can casually ask the Zindies team — or bring us a request — and an FAQ page that lines up the questions and answers born there.

The box is not just for questions. "I wish Zindies had this" — requests go in the same box. Honestly, Zindies is still a small service, and right now there may be more "things you want" than questions. Your "it would be nice if..." becomes the material that shapes what Zindies builds next.

The FAQ page

How it works

The flow is simple.

  1. Creators and shops send a question to the Zindies team
  2. We answer (the answer arrives as a notification and by email)
  3. When a question and its answer seem useful to others, we tidy up the wording and publish it on the FAQ

Your "little thing I wanted to ask" may someday become someone else's "answer I was looking for." We wanted to build that loop, and this is the shape it took.

How to ask

You will find the Question Box in the "Tools" section of your creator or shop home (the management screen).

The Question Box card in the home tools section

Open it, and this is the whole form.

The question form

All you write is the thing you want to ask or request. The only choice to make is one checkbox: "Stay anonymous if published."

  • Unchecked (as is): when your question appears on the FAQ, it may be published together with your creator or shop name. The name links to your page, so it doubles as a little introduction.
  • Checked: your question is published with your name hidden.

Either way, what you send is never published as written. Before anything goes on the FAQ, the team rewrites it into a public form — so it is fine if your message contains details specific to you.

And for things you would rather not see published, the contact form is there as always. That one stays the same: answered one-on-one.

The answer comes to you

When an answer arrives, we let you know with a notification and an email. Your questions and answers stay in the box, so whenever you think "wait, what did they tell me back then?" you can open it again anytime.

Question and answer history

None of this is urgent. Write things down whenever they cross your mind, and we will answer in order. For requests, we cannot promise to build everything right away — but when something becomes real, we will let you know in some form.

The FAQ is searchable

Published questions and answers line up at zindies.co/faq. Type a keyword and the list narrows on the spot — try a single word from whatever you are stuck on.

Each question carries tags like "creator," "place," "work," and "event." The tag words are searchable too.

The page is available in Japanese, English, Korean, and Traditional Chinese (translated automatically when published).

Moments like these

  • Your hands stop while registering a work or an event
  • "Can I use it this way?" crosses your mind
  • "I wish it had this feature" crosses your mind
  • Someone asks you something, and you realize you are not sure either

You do not need to know the right answer. "I don't get it" and "I wish it existed" both make perfectly good entries as they are. If anything, the places where you stumble are exactly where the next person will stumble.

Your questions grow Zindies

The FAQ is still small.

The more questions and answers gather, the more the FAQ becomes a place to lean on when you are stuck. And every "I wish it had this" becomes a seed for the next Zindies feature. If asking makes Zindies easier for you, that makes us happy too.

There is no hurry. When something you want to ask — or want to exist — comes along, give it a try then. 😊
