Hello! This is the Zindies team.
On September 6–7, 2026, we had the opportunity to present Zindies at the Code4Lib JAPAN Conference 2026, held at Kogakkan University in Ise. It was a real pleasure to talk about ZINEs with the community of libraries, archives, museums, and technology.

Abstract
Zindies is a web service that builds a database of ZINEs — small, independently made publications — to connect creators, shops, and readers, aiming for a world where those connections lead to even more ZINEs being born. The talk focused on the technical side of how a database can drive relationship building: AI-centered development, how the service's philosophy connects to its implementation, and techniques for machine-readable publishing.
