I loved writing but lacked confidence, and I was afraid to put a price on "just my own writing."

I made an essay book and sold it. Through experiences like people who discovered me on SNS and at ZINE festivals buying it, and having bookstores carry it, I slowly gained confidence.

I wrote candidly about realizing, "I was lonely," and about coming to feel, "I'm not alone."

I hope this book can, in a grubby and awkward way, spark the passion of those who lack confidence but secretly want to try something, or of those who tend to hold back but actually have something burning or a strong commitment inside them.
