Osamu Hashimoto 'Re-reading' Notes

This is an exploratory essay that seeks to approach the "thought" of novelist Osamu Hashimoto, who sadly passed away in 2019, by reading and interpreting his critical essays from the mid to late period. Works re-read include The Printed Word Says, 'Rise Up'; Bring the French Revolution to Edo!; Our Modern History; Religion Is Not Scary!; What Was 'Yukio Mishima'?; and The Blessings of Hideo Kobayashi.
