# 1/12 @ Kyoto / Pre-Opening Event (Details are being adjusted) We will hold a pre-opening event for the release of Zindies in Kyoto. We hope to gather acquaintances and have a small talk. Sharing with the hashtag #zindies on X, Instagram, note, etc., is very welcome, either before or after the event.

A service to visualize ZINEs being created across Japan, along with their creators and the shops or events that distribute them, aiming to create new encounters between you and ZINEs. ZINDIES is starting! The planners and developers will talk about the goals of this new service.

A bookstore or coworking space within Zindies that serves as a 'hub for connecting people.' For this event, we will invite individuals who have deep knowledge in these areas and have them speak in a talk format. Additionally, taking advantage of the geographical benefit where people tend to gather, we hope it will become a place where ZINE creators and store owners, such as bookstores or coworking spaces, can interact. The capacity is 50 people. The event is free of charge. Although it is a cold season, we encourage you to adjust your schedule and join us!

People who "create" Zindies will talk about the behind-the-scenes of the service. The term Book Geek includes not only engineers but also people who are trying to create books. We welcome the participation of those interested in the technical aspects of the service. It will be held online. Please feel free to join when the time comes.
